Hello all.
Being a full-time college student, one would think that the busy schedule would stop once summer started....
this has not been the case. ugh. So, in three months i have made one desktop. most unsatisfactory. That being said, it's kinda cool lookin. I managed to do a lot of reading this summer and this kinda reflected that. Plus, my friend and i have been writing a novel (via email) which has taken up a lot of my creativity.

So. As it appears, just like with everything else i once did, i have neglected this site once again. Why?

because college sucks.

My course load is horrible, and i truly feel like i'm at the bottom of a well. But, once i've turned in term papers and finals and have the summer in front of my computer i will be able to once again be creative. :(
that said, i do have a new wallpaper :D it's posted below.

yea yea yea, not done much. but this is the new desktop for my smaller laptop @ school. I got the idea when looking at a bulletin board on campus. way more than just a collage. I suppose I could have called it "Cafe la Torre" like the sign in the wallpaper, but decided against it.

the DRESDEN DOLLS remain to be my favorite. and i'm unsure of how many times i've used their lyrics for something or another (hell, their music was my inspiration for my journal) but here's one dedicated to them. I've actually made this one twice, there's another version without the two heads, so if you like that better, ya know, just let me know. i didn't see a point in posting them both.

HOORAY! 3rd vector-y, song-inspired wallpaper. So far this one's my favorite.
This one is taken from the song "Bold as Love" by Jimi Hendrix....however i didn't fall in love with that version, but the awesome version by John Mayer.

The sheet music is not accurate, i should mention. So i wouldn't recommend playing it, bbs.

Let me just say, I love Pink martini. I think they're just smart and really fuel for the creative process. And while creating this, I must've listened to the entire Hang on Little Tomato album at least a dozen times.

The next 3 that i'm posting don't have any of the newer images i've acquired. more vector-y. its an interesting contrast. This one came as the leftovers for a different one i'm fixing. you'll see it later. lyrics came from "Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds", by the Beatles. and i'm sure there's more i could do to the image, but i'm just too lazy. :p

Let it be known this is not my normal stuff.
This was done for my brother, who is a Comic Hero FREAK and has been talking about The Dark Knight for months. He needed a new desktop. i provided.
The only cool bit is that 2 of the pictures, (the cityscape and capt. america) are actual pictures i took @ universal studios.

This took me the better part of my day.

ok, do not let the title confuse you. this one really has no theme, but instead is a reference to the lyrics used in it, "Shores of California" by the Dresden Dolls. It was done kinda hurriedly, in fact its the one i like the least. I had this whole, "mad men" theme, like the tv show, and that so didn't work out so i scrapped the idea and stuck together what i did have.

whatever. it's alright i guess. see for yourselves.
